Math Kangaroo
The Math Kangaroo contest/game is an international activity for students in grades 2 to 12. This year it will take place on March 24th, 2013 at 1:00PM at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of Memorial University. The test for grades 1-2 consists of 18 multiple-choice questions, arranged in increasing difficulty, to be answered in 45 minutes. The test for grades 3-4 consists of 24 multiple-choice questions, arranged in increasing difficulty, to be answered in 60 minutes. The test for grades 5-12 consists of 30 multiple-choice questions, arranged in increasing difficulty, to be answered in 75 minutes.

*Students with the highest score in their grade and region whose score is below these
minimum scores receives a certificate for the best achievement in the region, in their grade.
