Looking to add Google Analytics to your site? Follow the step-by-step guide below.
Step 1: Create a Google Account, using your @mun.ca email address. Verify the account by checking your @mun.ca email address (also make sure to check your Spam folder).
*Note: A Google account is NOT the same thing as a Gmail account. Ensure that you use your @mun.ca email address when completing this step.
Step 2: Once you verify your Google Account, proceed to sign up for Google Analytics.
*Note: When entering in your site URL make sure to use your site's top level URL (Ex. http://www.mun.ca/marcomm. This means Analytics will track ALL pages on the Marketing & Communications site).
Step 3: Send your Google Account username and the URL of your site to Web Content Services. Send this information to the Web Editor, who will submit a ticket to C&C.
