How to add a banner to mun.ca

 Contact Marketing & Communications to discuss the creative details. Also see Known banner schedule for more information.

Once Marcomm has approved the creative details any relative files will be sent to the Web Editor.

Relative files include:

  • the graphic files(usually with text already in place)
  • the timeframe you hope to have the banners in place
  • the URL(s) that it will link to

The Web Editor will send all files to C&C, who will add them to your site. The Web Editor will notify you when the banners have been added.

All files should be submitted to the Web Editor at least 2 (two) business days prior to your desired live date. This lead time ensures the quality and effectiveness of the banner and avoids any last minute confusion.

In the coming months we will we working on a schedule for the entire year so that known Marketing events banners can be completed well ahead of schedule, as well as a standard approach to the banner graphic creation.
