Manage images

To insert an image, click on the "Insert/Edit Image"Insert/edit image icon and then click on the "Browse"Browse icon to the right of the space for the Image URL. The Moxiecode Image Manager will open.

Edit: Once the photo is in the Moxiecode Image Manager, you can change its size and shape before adding it to your page.

Click on the black upward arrow that appears in the lower right corner of your image.

Select "Edit" from the list of options.

The Moxiecode Image Manager Editor will open.

Crop: You can crop the photo by clicking on the "Crop"Crop icon. Highlight the area that you want to include in the photo, and then click the "Apply"Apply icon.

Resize: To change the size of an image, click the "Resize" icon. There are two ways to resize an image:

1. Adjust the size of the image using the handles (the small squares that appear on the corners and sides of the image) directly from the content window. If you choose this method resizing the image using a corner handle will ensure the image maintains its original proportion.

To make the handles appear, click on the image itself. Hoever over one of the handles and your cursor will change to a black arrow. Drag the image from one of the handles to the desired size.

*Note: You can also resize using handles in the Moxiecode Image Manager's image editor.

2. Adjust the size of the image by changing width and height dimensions, using the Moxiecode Image Manager's image editor. If using this method ensure "Constrain Proportions"Constrain proportions is selected to maintain the image’s original proportion. Entering a width or height dimension and pressing the "Tab" key on your keyboard will automatically generate the other associated dimension to maintain the image’s original proportion.

Whichever method you use it is important to save your changes.
If you use Moxiecode Image Manager, click "Apply" Applyand then click "Save"Save. Change the file name of the image, but retain the image's extension (such as .jpg or .png) and then click "Save"Save2. You can now insert your resized image.

If you use the handles in the content window, click "Save Your Changes"Save Your Changes at the bottom of the content window.
