SUBJECT:	Memorial University encourages attendance at Katrina fundraiser

Memorial University’s Office of Student Recruitment is hosting a BBQ in support of Katrina relief. The BBQ, being held from 12-2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, will take place in the courtyard between the Arts and Administration, Science and Henrietta Harvey buildings. Memorial’s talented percussion ensemble, The Scruncheons, are set to perform around 1 p.m. All proceeds will be given to the Canadian Red Cross to be used in aiding the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Media outlets are encouraged to attend.
