SUBJECT: Memorial Universityâ€™s Faculty of Business Administration will recognize the local leaders of power and persuasive marketing

On Tuesday, April 12, 2005, Memorial University’s Faculty of Business Administration will mark the 21st anniversary of its annual Partners Dinner and present awards to two local business leaders. Karl Smith will receive the faculty’s 2004 Alumni Honour Award. Mr. Smith, B.Comm. (Co-op) ‘81, is president and CEO of Newfoundland Power Inc.
Noel O’Dea, B.Comm. ’73 and president of Target Marketing and Communications Inc., will receive the P.J. Gardiner Institute’s Newfoundland and Labrador Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Department of Transportation and Works will also be recognized for reaching a milestone in the faculty’s co-operative education program.
The dinner will be held on Tuesday, April 12, at 6:45 p.m.at The Fairmont Newfoundland; dinner will start at 7:30 p.m.Tickets are $80 and corporate tables of eight and 10 are available. For tickets, contact Roma Bowen by April 7 by calling 737-2182or e-mailing email@example.com.
