SUBJECT: Alumni invited to special event with Sea-Hawks basketball
DATE: Jan. 31,2005
Memorial University alumni are invited to the Field House on Saturday, Feb. 5, to enjoy the excitement of Sea-Hawks basketball and a between-game reception.
Alumni will receive a preferred ticket rate of $5 in a reserved seating section for a doubleheader featuring the men's and women's teams as they battle the Dalhousie Tigers in Atlantic University Sport action. The women's game begins at 6 p.m. followed by the men's game at 8 p.m.
This weekend also marks the final home stand for fifth-year athletes Jenine Browne and Amy Dalton, two of Memorial's finest student-athletes.
Alumni who attend need only tell the ticket vendor at the door that they are alumni to get the reduced ticket rate. Attendees should wear red and white in support of the home team.
Between the games, join the alumni reception in the multi-purpose room on the upper level of the Field House. Drop by to meet old friends, make new ones and meet some of the players.
This evening is presented by Memorial Athletics, Alumni Affairs and Development, the St. John’s chapter of the Alumni Association and The Works.
