SUBJECT:	Science Building on Memorial's St. John's campus reopened; gas leak found and closed off

Officials from Memorial University's Department of Facilities Management have reopened the Science Building on the St. John's campus. The building had been closed for a few hours earlier today (Oct. 16) to investigate reports of leaking propane. A loose, manual valve was discovered in a third floor laboratory. The valve has been secured and the building has been reopened.
