On Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, Dr. Axel Meisen, president of Memorial University, will make a special announcement pertaining to the launch of the Leslie Harris Centre of Regional Policy and Development (The Harris Centre) at Memorial University.

The announcement begins at 10:30 a.m.in the Junior Common Room,

R. Gushue Hall, Irwin’s Road, located on Memorial's St. John's campus. Media agencies are encouraged to send representatives. A reception will follow.
