The Margaret Williams Trust Fund has made its 2002 award to Christine Hiller. The award is worth $2,000.

Ms. Hiller, a native of St. John's, Newfoundland, holds a Bachelor of Arts (history major with a minor in English) degree in history from Memorial University. She is pursuing a Master of Library and Information Studies degree at Dalhousie.

The Margaret Williams Trust Fund Award was established to promote the development of librarianship in Newfoundland and Labrador. Funds are awarded on a competitive basis to applicants seeking funding for library-related projects or assistance in pursuing graduate studies in the field of library science.
