The Toronto chapter of Memorial University of Newfoundland invites you to a great evening with alumni and friends of Memorial University, Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at the Hilton Hotel, Toronto. This is the first annual event to create and support a Memorial University Alumni Association Toronto Chapter Scholarship Fund.
The gala dinner will feature a multimedia presentation and live music by Anneliese Cameron. This will be an ideal time to network, catch up on old friendships and meet other graduates of Memorial. Special guest speaker Dr. Vic Young, B.Comm. (Hons.)'66, MBA'68, LLD'96, will present "Pounding on Stubborn Gates - The Future of Newfoundland and Labrador" based on his recent experience as chair of the Royal Commission on Renewing and Strengthening Newfoundland and Labrador's Place in Canada.
There will also be Memorial-themed table gifts and a presentation of Memorial University issues, opportunities and accomplishments.
