SUBJECT: Memorial University’s Faculty of Business Administration marks milestone by honouring local business achievements.

On April 6, the Faculty of Business Administration will mark the 20 th anniversary of its annual Partners dinner and present awards to two homemade successes. Robert S. Crosbie will receive the faculty’s 2003 Alumni Honour Award. Mr. Crosbie, B.Comm. ’79, is chairman of the Crosbie Group Ltd. and president of Crosbie Salamis Ltd. and ASCO Canada Ltd. Jean Chatman, founder of Chatman’s Bakery in Charlottetown , NL, will receive the 2004 Newfoundland and Labrador Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the faculty’s P.J. Gardiner Institute.

The dinner will be held on Tuesday, April 6 at 6:45 p.m. at the Delta St. John’s ; dinner will start at 7:30 p.m. The awards will be presented after the dinner portion of the event and recipients will be available for interviews and photos. Media are invited to attend all or part of the event.
