Spread the Net has finally come to Memorial!
On Friday, Oct. 26, from 12-1 p.m., students from Memorial’s School of Nursing will launch Spread the Net, a grassroots campaign founded by Belinda Stronach and Rick Mercer to end malaria deaths by raising funds for anti-malaria mosquito nets. Friday’s event features a bake sale, with all proceeds going to Spread the Net.
The bake sale will take place in lecture theatre A, Faculty of Medicine, Health Sciences Centre, in St. John’s.
Media representatives are invited to attend; parking available in the overflow lot for area 9 (gravel area before duck pond).
