SUBJECT: Adult Irish language (Gaelic) beginners course

Memorial University’s Irish language teaching assistant for 2012-13,
Conor Glynn, will hold adult Irish language classes at the Benevolent Irish Society, 30 Harvey Rd., in St. John’s beginning Tuesday, Oct. 30, from
7:30-9 p.m.
The classes, which will run for seven consecutive weeks until Dec. 11, will emphasize the development of speaking and listening skills and are aimed at those who have not previously studied Irish or who know only a few words of the language.
Registration in advance is recommended but not necessary. There is no charge for the classes. Contact Mr. Glynn at or at 709-351-1611 to register or for more information.
