March 19-23 is national Co-operative Education Week, and while perched atop St. Johns at the Admirals Green Clubhouse in Pippy Park, Memorial University will bring together students and employer partners to celebrate with its annual Co-operative Education Student and Employer Recognition Luncheon.
During the luncheon, four Directors Awards for an Exemplary Work Term in Co-operative Education will be presented to students along with Employer Partner Awards for their respective employers.
Co-operative programs at Memorial place more than 1,600 students each year with employers throughout the world in 10 different fields. They include business, computer science, economics, engineering, environmental science, folklore, kinesiology, physical education, political science, psychology and recreation.
The event will take place on Wednesday, March 21, from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
