SUBJECT: Marine Institute cancels World Oceans Day celebration

Note to editors:
 
            Due to tomorrow’s weather forecast calling for rain, the Fisheries and Marine Institute (MI) of Memorial University of Newfoundland has postponed its World Oceans Day celebration, originally planned for Wednesday, June 8, at Topsail Beach in Conception Bay South.
            The event will be held at a later date.
