SUBJECT:	Memorial University celebrates 25th annual Volunteer Day Awards Ceremony

Note to editors:

The MUN Volunteer Day Awards Ceremony is an annual event which recognizes the outstanding efforts of volunteers.

The celebration will take place from 12–2 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2011, in The Landing, room 3018 of the University Centre. Attendees will include Dave Denine, minister responsible for the volunteer and nonprofit sector, representatives from the business community and Memorial University.

Reception to follow.

Parking may be available in lot 16 or 16A adjacent to the University Centre. As always, marked media vehicles without permits will not be ticketed by Campus Enforcement and Patrol.
