Satin, Suits, Solidarity is a black-tie event in support of Haiti, organized by Memorial University Medical Students’ Society. The event features live music, cash bar and a silent auction with special guest speakers: Dr. Monica Kidd, Family Medicine resident and director of Narrating Haiti, and Bill Hynd, national campaign director, Oxfam Canada.
All proceeds and donations will be directed to Haiti Village Health, an organization founded by MUN graduate Dr. Tiffany Keenan, and the Humanitarian Coalition, a group of four well-respected Canadian aid organizations (CARE Canada, Save the Children Canada, Oxfam Canada and Oxfam Quebec).
Media are invited to attend for photos and interviews.

Where: The Johnson GEO CENTRE
When: Saturday, Feb. 27; reception at 7:30 p.m. and speakers at 9:30 p.m.
