SUBJECT:	Significant investment for new Process Engineering Design and Research Lab at Memorial University

There will be a news conference held on Friday, Feb. 19, to announce an investment to create a new Process Engineering Design and Research Laboratory at Memorial University.

Participants include Dr. Christopher Loomis, president and vice-chancellor pro tempore of Memorial University; Mark MacLeod, Atlantic Canada manager for Chevron Canada; Glenn Janes, chief executive officer of the Research and Development Corporation of Newfoundland and Labrador; and Dr. Faisal Khan, acting chair of process engineering at Memorial.

The event will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the Beatrice Watts Boardroom (room IIC-2014) of the Inco Innovation Centre, Memorial University, St. John’s Campus.

A reception will follow.
