SUBJECT:	Event steers students in right direction

Note to editors

Media agencies are invited to attend a student-oriented event on Memorial University’s St. John’s campus on Friday, March 20.

Grad Street Festival will be held on the third floor of the University Centre from 10 a.m., to 4 p.m.

Booths will be set up providing students with information about convocation ceremonies, careers after graduation, Memorial’s graduate studies programs and the benefits of being a Memorial alumni.

The event is being co-ordinated by the Division of Marketing and Communications which is collaborating with Alumni Affairs and Development, the Registrar's Office, the Centre for Career Development, the School of Graduate Studies, the Marine Institute and the University Bookstore.

Parking is available in Area 16, off Arctic Ave.
