SUBJECT:	Deadline approaching for Memorial University graduates to serve on Board of Regents
DATE:	June 27, 2008

Nominations are currently being accepted by the Memorial University Alumni Association for candidates to fill a slate for the election of six alumni representatives to the Board of Regents, the governing body of Memorial.

Alumni representatives are elected for a three-year term which begins Sept. 1.

Nominations for these positions close on July 4, with the election starting July 14 and running until Aug. 18.
