SUBJECT:	Memorial University hosts reception for out-going president

A special ceremony will take place next week to celebrate the leadership and contributions of Dr. Axel Meisen, Memorial University’s seventh president and vice-chancellor.

The university-wide reception is being hosted by Gil Dalton, chair of Memorial’s Board of Regents. The reception takes place on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 3 p.m. in the Main Dining Hall, Paton College. Formalities will begin at 3:30 p.m. Media agencies are encouraged to send representatives to the reception.

Parking is available in all areas surrounding R. Gushue Hall, off Prince Philip Drive.
