Memorial University’s Faculty of Arts invites the public to attend a session on the implications to Newfoundland and Labrador of the equalization deal offered in the recent federal budget.
Economist Dr. Wade Locke will provide accurate numbers based on his careful analysis, and will offer insight into what these numbers mean for the province. A discussion period will follow his presentation.
Cutting through the Gordian Knot – An Objective Assessment of the Equalization Implications for Newfoundland and Labrador of the 2007 Federal Budget takes place on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, from 7-9 p.m. in the Arts and Administration Building, room A-1046.
