||Interdisciplinary lecture conference at Memorial University open to the public
On Tuesday, February 26, the Graduate Students' Union and the School of Graduate Studies at Memorial University will present the 2002 Aldrich Interdisciplinary Lecture and Conference. The Aldrich Lecture will be delivered by Mr. Robert Giroux, president and chief executive officer, Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC). Mr. Giroux will speak on Preparing our Universities' Future Faculty: A Challenge for our Graduate Schools. The public is invited to attend this lecture, which begins at 7:30 p.m. in The Royal Trust Atrium, Faculty of Business Administration Building. A reception following the lecture will be held at Bitters Pub, Feild Hall. Complementary Parking is available in Lot 16A (behind the Business Building).
During the course of the day, graduate students will present 20-minute long papers on their research. The conference opening address will be at 8:45 a.m. in B3007 located in the Faculty of Business Administration Building. The presentation of papers begins at 9 a.m. in Rooms B-3007, B-3008 , and B-3009 . There is no conference fee and all members of the university community and members of the general public are encouraged to attend.
