MUN's Engineering Building |
Early this morning (Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001) custodians at Memorial
University found a wallet containing a suspicious white powder in the main
lecture theatre of the Engineering Building on the St. John's campus.
The Campus Enforcement and Patrol office was alerted. The RNC was
contacted and the Hazardous Materials Unit of the Fire Department are
investigating. As a precaution, the Engineering Building is being closed
until further notice.
Further information will be released as it becomes available.
