SUBJECT:     Local business leaders to be recognized by the Faculty of Business Administration

NOTE TO EDITORS:

Two local businessmen will be honoured at the Faculty of Business Administration’s 18th annual Partners Dinner. Chris Griffiths, founder and president of Garrison Guitar Works will receive the 2002 P.J. Gardiner Institute for Small Business Studies’ Newfoundland and Labrador Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Brendan Paddick, B.Comm (Co-op) ’86 and MBA ’94, will receive the faculty’s Alumnus of the Year award. Mr. Paddick is the president of Persona Communications Inc.

The dinner will be held on Thursday, May 16 at 6:45 p.m. at the Fairmont Newfoundland; dinner will start at 7:30 p.m. Media are invited to attend all or part of the event. If you are planning to attend the dinner, RSVP to Roma at 737-2182 by Monday, May 13.
