Digital Language Centre

Welcome to the Digital Language Centre (formerly the Language Labs). Here at the DLC, we provide academic support to second language learners and to instructors of language and linguistics courses in the Faculty of Arts. In addition, we facilitate conversation classes to support students in improving their speaking skills in the language they are learning.

The links in the side bar to the left are divided into sections about the two computer labs that comprise the Digital Language Centre (DLC), the resources available to instructors and learners in the five language departments served by the DLC: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, English as a Second Language, Linguistics and Classics. Information for language learners can be found under 'Languages and Linguistics'. Follow the links there to the materials you need for your courses.

News:

When you come to the centre during hours staffed by a student monitor knowledgeable in the language you are studying, you can ask for help with Quia or Ensuite exercises, Moodle, En Bonne Forme audio tracks, Puntos de partida materials, or anything else you might need help with. Click on the schedule links below or to the left to find out when your language is on!
