Cisco Semester 1 (2 credit hours)
An introduction to networking. Topics include: Network terminology,
network protocols, local-area networks (LANs), wide-area networks
(WANs), open system interconnection (OSI) model, cabling, cabling
tools, routers, router programming, ethernet, Internet protocol
(IP) addressing, and network standards.

Cisco Semester 2 (2 credit hours)
The prerequisite for this course is Networking Systems
1.
This course focuses on initial router configuration,
Cisco IOS Software management, routing protocol configuration,
TCP/IP, and access control lists (ACLs). Participants will develop
skills and will configure a router, manage Cisco IOS software,
configure routing protocol on routers, and set the access lists to
control the access to the routers.
