The Cisco Networking Academy Program provides a comprehensive overview of networking from fundamentals to advanced applications and services to help you prepare for IT professional careers and the CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification exam.

The program emphasizes theoretical concepts and practical applications, while providing the hands-on labs needed to design, install, operate, and maintain networks in small-to-medium businesses, as well as enterprise and service provider environments.

Completion of the program provides you with the basic and advanced networking competencies you need to sit the certification exam for Cisco's Certified Network Associate (CCNA) designation. Program graduates also receive a Certificate of Networking from the Division of Lifelong Learning.

About Cisco courses at a distance
The Cisco Networking Academy allows you to do your courses both in-class as well as by distance learning. With our Cisco distance courses, you will have full access to all online curriculum, and can progress at your own rate. The distance courses provide for some lab time for those who are able to attend. If you are not able to attend, Cisco provides a routerswitch simulator called Packet Tracer. This application provides you with an excellent hands-on experience where you do not have access to Cisco equipment.
