Lifelong Learning Classes, Programs and Services
For Your Personal Enrichment
Our personal enrichment (PE) offerings are your opportunity to
learn to draw, paint, sing, build a greenhouse, speak a second
language, assess wine, navigate our coastline, send a digital photo
to your grandchildren, stew up a succulent dish of caribou, play
the accordion, scribe a poem or trace your family's genealogy.
Whatever your choice, the emphasis is on relaxed, informative
learning!
We also have PE offerings specifically designed for our 55+
learners and their youngest counterparts (see kids@MUN Youth under
Programs).
These classes are typically offered on-campus, evenings though an
increasing number of classes are also being scheduled in convenient
daytime sections. For a full list of our current offerings, see the
Current Classes link at left.
For Your Professional Development (also see
Programs and Corporate Training)
Our professional development classes and programs draw their
content from industry best practices and principles, and are taught
by facilitators recognized for their expertise in their fields.
With these offerings you can acquire the foundations for a career
in IT (Cisco Networking Academy), earn a professional designation
(Certified Payroll Manager), develop a site plan using AutoCAD, get
the tips and strategies you need to deliver projects on time and on
budget (Effective Project Management) and lots more. We also offer
a comprehensive contract training service for private- and
public-sector organizations.
Again, many of the classes are offered on-campus, evenings though
an increasing number of classes are also being scheduled in
convenient daytime sections. In the case of corporate training,
classes can be scheduled according to the client's
requirements.
