Russian Summer Program

The Russian Field School is organized from mid-July to mid August within the framework of the spring semester. It comprises a full course load of three courses, but allows students to work until mid-July on preparatory assignments, and readings prior to travelling to St. Petersburg for four intensive weeks. Students who rely on student aid can apply for a student loan.

The St. Petersburg program is organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Russia and the Zlatoust Language Institute. After morning classes there are daily excursions with professional lecturers and academics to the famous sites in St. Petersburg and side-trips to other cities, including Pushkin Pavlovsk, Peterhof, Kronstadt, Novgorod (and other destinations.) Students live with Russian individuals or families in modern apartments, which are located very close to one another. All efforts are made to keep costs to a minimum with maximum academic benefits, language progress and a memorable time in Russia guaranteed!!
