Happy Valley-Goose Bay
Happy Valley-Goose Bay is the largest community in central Labrador and acts as the transportation and administration hub for much of Labrador. Central Labrador is also referred to as Upper Lake Melville and has the largest aboriginal population in the province with over 5000 aboriginal residents in the region, comprised of Innu, Inuit and Metis.
The Happy Valley-Goose Bay location serves as the main office for the Labrador Institute, with two locations:
one in the College of the North Atlantic Building
and the other in the Nunacor Building.
