International Development Week 2012

I am making a difference!

I am Making A Difference!

From 5 to 11 February 2012, International Development Week (IDW), sponsored by CIDA, highlights the work of Canada's development community and connects this work to Canadians. Throughout IDW, Canadians, especially youth, are invited to take action and participate in Canada's international development efforts through a number of events taking place across the country.

International Development Week 2012 focuses on the empowerment of women and girls and specifically looks at sustainable economic growth as a core concern. Why invest in women and girls? Because gender equality is smart economics.
