ATLANTIC ROOTS & ROUTES (Friday 15 July, 8:00pm; Arts & Culture Centre) features the historic links between Newfoundland, Ireland, and Portugal as well as the musical legacy of the Black Atlantic.

LUNCHTIME CONCERT: SYLVIE PROULX (Sunday 17 July, 12:30pm; MMap Gallery) Acclaimed classical guitarist Sylvie Proulx presents some of the best known Brazilian guitar repertoire including the compositions of such celebrated composers as Paulo Bellinati, Sergio Assad and Gilberto Gismonti. Sylvie will be joined by alumni students Steven Cowan and Andrew Wix as well as Christ Batstone.

INDIGENOUS NOW! (Sunday 17 July, 8:00pm; Arts & Culture Centre) shines the spotlight on well-known Native American groups, a trans-national indigenous ensemble and a Sámi duo who add jazz and popular music elements to the tradition of "joiking"; (characterizing people, places, or animals in song).

Frode Fjellheim and Ulla Pirttijarvi (Sámi) from Norway and Finland.
Claude McKenzie (from the legendary Innu duo Kashtin).

CANADA'S MANY VOICES (Monday 18 July, 8:00pm; Arts & Culture Centre) showcases cultural diversity from coast to coast.
