Solid Ground
SOLID GROUND, a local trio from St. John's, Newfoundland whose style of music can best be described as Traditional/Contemporary/Irish/Newfoundland. SOLID
GROUND is a relatively new band consisting of seasoned veterans from the ranks of such bands as TICKLE HARBOUR, THE PLANKERDOWN BAND, RED ISLAND, THE PUNTERS
and THE JASON WHELAN BAND. In addition, they have played with such luminaries as Paddy Keenan, Seamus Creagh, Emile Benoit and Rufus Guinchard, just to name
a few. This trio weaves a unique blend of style and delivery that promises to enliven, enchant and entertain.
