The International Coastal Network (ICN) is an interdisciplinary research lab, established in 2007 as part of the Canada Research Chair in Natural Resource Sustainability and Community Development, held by Dr. Ratana Chuenpagdee, Department of Geography, Memorial University of Newfoundland, St. John’s. Funding to support infrastructure and research activities at ICN are from Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI), Industrial Research and Innovation Fund (IRIF), and Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).
