Committed to furthering learning and development at Memorial, the Department of Human Resources is pleased to provide new offerings of the Supervisory Skills and Management Development Programs.
Since the pilot in 2005, the Supervisory Skills Development Program continues to be in high demand. This program is designed to meet the learning needs of supervisory personnel across the University. Eligible participants are those who occupy MPS (Bands 4-7) positions on a permanent, full-time basis and who are funded through operating budgets. These individuals would also provide leadership and supervision to others.
The launch of the new Management Development Program in 2013 was well received and demand for participation is strong. This program will continue to enhance the skills of managerial employees, provide participants the opportunity to learn from colleagues and develop networks that are vital to success in a changing environment. Eligible participants are those who occupy MPS (Bands 8-12) positions on a permanent, full-time basis and who are funded through operating budgets. These individuals would also provide leadership and management to others.
Applications for both programs must be received on or before Wednesday August 13, 2014 to: Kristen Roberts, Learning & Development, Department of Human Resources, Arts and Administration Building.
