The HPF language specification states that the HPF_LIBRARY and HPF_LOCAL_LIBRARY routines are only available if USE HPF_LIBRARY or USE HPF_LOCAL_LIBRARY statements are issued. The Digital Fortran 90 compiler relaxes this restriction. The USE statements, if present, are accepted, but are not required.
