Allied Health Services works in conjunction with Memorial University's Department of Health and Safety to provide personalized ergonomic assessments for MUN employees.
The objectives of ergonomic assessments are to:
- Provide individual assessments to give insight into where problems and risks might occur.
- Reduce the risk of postural strain by providing recommendations on how to adjust the work station to fit the individual employee.
- Provide a follow-up visit to ensure the work station adjustments are effective and determine if further adjustments are needed.
