Jennifer Dyer is Associate Professor of Communications Studies and Director of the MPhil (Humanities) and Interdisciplinary PhD Programs at Memorial. She has published on philosophical aesthetics, contemporary visual art, contemporary art in Newfoundland and Labrador and has presented papers on the connections between art and ethics, the role of art in contemporary culture, and the value of public investment in art and culture. She is currently working on a monograph about prag- matist and feminist readings of new media art in Canada.
