Students and their Academics

The University is currently operating as normal with respect to its academic activities.

At this time, no changes have been made to the winter session or other planned programs and events. However, some classes may be cancelled on a per-course basis (see Memorial's Cancellations page).

It is Memorial’s intention to work with students individually to minimize, as much as possible, the impact that H1N1 will have on their academic program.

Memorial University’s goal with respect to academic programming is to optimize protection of everyone on our campuses, while minimizing disruptions to the teaching and research activities of our students; and to return to a state of normalcy as quickly as possible.

We urge all students to practice the three C's of prevention, and to stay home if experiencing any H1N1 symptoms.
If your academics are being impacted by H1N1, please contact your instructors via email as soon as possible. See this information on Student Absenteeism.

The University will communicate important information to students via email. Please ensure that you check your mun.ca or swgc.mun.ca email regularly. The university will be communicating important information to students through their mun.ca email account. For Grenfell Campus students, information will be forwarded to email accounts by the Grenfell Campus Relations Department.

For additional information related to academics please contact the Office of the Registrar.
