STEPS TO GRADUATE:
Qualify to finish...
You must first apply to graduate; the Registrar's Office will review your academic record to determine if you've met the degree requirements. The deadline to apply to graduate is January 15 for Spring Convocation and July 15 for Fall Convocation. Log on to Memorial Self Service to fill out the application for graduation.
RSVP for your 30 seconds of fame...
Register to attend your convocation ceremony via Memorial Self Service beginning March 2012. Even if you don't plan to attend, please go online and tell us this so arrangements can be made to send your parchment to you.
Be in the know...
Find out the date and time of your ceremony and make sure you know what to expect. . . like where to rent your gown and how properly to wear the stuff (who really knows that?)
Pick up your gear...
Pick up your academic dress and tickets 90 minutes before your ceremony.
Become hooded...
Finally, the degree you've worked so hard for. . . proudly walk across the stage, get hooded and shake hands with the chancellor!
