Services for Graduates
Photography
The university will contract the services of an external vender, Grad Images Canada, to capture photographic images of this special day. Each graduate will be photographed on-stage as your degree is being conferred and back stage in a convocation portrait. Within approximately four weeks of the ceremony all graduates will receive a passport-sized proof of their photo(s) along with information on a variety of photo packages to select from. There is NO OBLIGATION to purchase.
Memorial University will provide your personal contact information to the external vender solely for the purpose of offering you specific products and services resulting from photography of you taken at the Convocation ceremony. It is not necessary to pre-order photographs.
If you do NOT wish to have your personal information released to the vender for this purpose you must contact the Division of Marketing and Communications in writing before May 9, 2012.

For the purposes of publicly celebrating the success of our students and updating university marketing materials, Memorial University's photographer will attend convocation to take photos of the ceremony and to capture candid shots of the ceremony and reception. Please advise your guests of this activity.

Framing
To showcase your diploma certificate, you can choose to have it framed immediately following the convocation ceremony. At the Grenfell Campus this service is provided by the Bookstore. Frames are also available through the Office of Alumni Affairs and Development in St. John’s. Framing prices vary and start at $45. All frames include mats emblazoned with the ceremonial logo of Memorial University of Newfoundland.
