Academic Dress Distribution
Students must visit the Gaspard link on Memorial Self-Service and must request academic dress prior to April 25, 2012. There is a charge associated with renting academic dress, which includes a keepsake cap.
Pick up your academic dress the morning of your convocation ceremony at 8:30 a.m. at Canada House, Pepsi Centre.
Memorial's Academic dress consists of a keepsake cap, a gown and hood; the hood colours and styles vary by the degree being conferred. Click the link below to view our hood colors and degrees.
When you pick up your academic dress, please confirm with the attendant the degree(s) you are receiving to ensure that you receive the correct colour hood(s) for the degree(s).
Caps are part of academic dress and wearing them is COMPULSORY. Also, if you already hold a degree, you DO NOT wear that hood at this convocation.
You are requested to return your academic dress (hood and gown) following the convocation ceremony (see signage).
Academic Dress for Photographs
The provision of Gowns, for Photography Service ONLY, began in Fall 2011 through the St. John's Bookstore. For details on that service, please contact the St. John's Campu Bookstore or visit http://mun.bookware3000.ca/
Ticket Distribution
Tickets for graduating students and their guests will be available on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 1:30 pm prior to the rehearsal.
