Memorial's 2007 fall convocation marked the first time fall ceremonies were held at both the Sir Wilfred Grenfell College and St. John's campuses. Hundreds of students received their degrees, honorary degrees were awarded to Pamela Morgan, Dr. Linda Hutcheon and Dr. Shirley Tilghman, and five members of the university community were added to the list of professores emeriti.
