Fifth-year social work student Charlotte Courage raised some eyebrows last October when she and two other Memorial classmates spent 24 hours on the streets of St. John’s as part of a project on homelessness. Ms. Courage, who accepts the Young Humanitarian Award from the Red Cross next month, and her friends slept overnight here in Harbourside Park in downtown St. John’s. Read more here.
