New communications co-ordinator for Business

Meaghan Whelan

Meaghan Whelan is the newest member of the Marketing and Communications team. On Aug. 14, Ms. Whelan began working as the communications co-ordinator within the Faculty of Business.

A native of Harbour Grace, Ms. Whelan became interested in public relations and communications while working at CHVO radio in Carbonear. She holds a bachelor of public relations (co-operative education) from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax. Her communications experience includes work for the Atlantic Jazz Festival, the City of Kitchener, and the Atlantic Provinces Council on the Sciences. Most recently, she worked for the Population Therapeutics Research Group within the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial.
