Merchant Navy remembrance
At a service held at the Marine Institute on Aug. 29, Merchant Navy veterans remember the 333 Newfoundland Merchant Navy personnel who lost their lives during the Second World War. This is the ninth anniversary of the unveiling of the memorial for the Newfoundland Merchant Navy located in front of the Marine Institute.
