NotableCheryl Staubitzer, an Honours student in the Department of Biochemistry and volunteer with the Let’s Talk Science Partnership Program at Memorial, was selected as one of the five finalists in Canada for the 2007 National Let’s Talk Science Volunteer Award for her outstanding contribution to science outreach with youth in Newfoundland and Labrador. Shannon Obradovich, a master’s student with the Fisheries Conservation Group, has won the 2007 National Let’s Talk Science Site Co-ordinator Award, for her work with the Let’s Talk Science Partnership Program. |
