The Field House was buzzing last weekend as Memorial hosted the CIS national championships. Simon Fraser took the title with a 72-68 victory over the University of Alberta Pandas. But the excitement for the Sea-Hawks faithful came from Memorial’s bronze medal, earned with a 75-60 victory over conference rival Dalhousie.

The action from the weekend included, Erin Mullaley taking it to the hoop against Dal;

Coach Doug Partridge and assistant Pam Dooley nervously surveying the scoreboard;

Crowds at the Field House exceeded organizers’ expectations;

Maegan Seaward, player of the game in Sunday’s victory, showing her defensive skills against Alberta;

Sea-Hawks supporters came in all shapes, sizes and hat styles.
